Trauma-Informed Therapy and Executive Leadership
Laurie Mohlman, LCSW, is the founder of Embracing Emotional Freedom, LLC, specializing in trauma-informed therapy, executive emotional mastery, and leadership consulting. She has spent years working directly with military leadership, building trusted relationships with officers and command-level professionals and supporting them through the emotional demands of high-responsibility roles.
Laurie’s background in county jails, state prisons, and statewide probation and parole shaped her steady, deeply attuned approach to human behavior — an approach that resonates strongly with IT professionals, engineers, and technical leaders who operate in environments defined by constant problem-solving, long-range thinking, and high operational stakes. She helps technical teams and leaders build emotional intelligence, clarity, and regulated decision-making so they can perform at a high level without burning out.
As a clinician, Laurie supports clients healing from trauma, attachment injuries, and survival-based patterns. Her therapeutic work blends evidence-based modalities with nervous-system regulation to help clients develop self-trust, internal steadiness, and genuine emotional freedom.
Laurie believes that healing and high performance are interconnected. Whether supporting an executive in high-stress environments, military officer, an IT leader, or a client navigating deep personal change, she brings grounded presence, clinical expertise, and a clear commitment to resilience and growth.
